Category: Events

I am very much looking forward to your good company on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the McGuire Community Center, Tommy B’s, McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey for our 21-year reunion since the HSL-94 decommissioning.  It will occur this year.  It will not be postponed again.  This will be a fun time with ever present Titan electric enthusiasm.   So please bring your spouses!  We will also have a golf scramble at noon at Fort Dix Fountain Green Golf Course, and we have consistently had beautiful golf weather at every March reunion.  Do make some phone calls, spread the word to those not on the attached email list, and let me know if any of the email addresses are out of date.

To provide required headcount notification to Aramark for the necessary food and allow time for our loyal Treasurer, Joe Gardner, to do the accounting, check writing, and generate an attendee’s list, we need you to complete the attached form and mail the check.

The RSVP form and the $49 dinner check has a deadline of February 18th.

We will start with a cash bar in the Colonial Room from 1800 to 1900 and open the sliding walls to the main Cotillion Room from 1900 to 2300 for dinner.  We are planning 13 tables with 8 persons per table and have room for more.  During the reception hour, we have the following light hors d’oeuvres: 1) Bacon Wrapped Scallops 2) Crab Cakes and 3) Vegetable Spring Rolls.

For dinner, we will be served plated entrees at our tables rather than stand in line at a buffet with the following dinner options: 1) Crab and Andouille Stuffed Chicken Roulade 2) Grilled 6 oz. CAB Fillet Mignon and 3) Grilled Tuscan Vegetable Lasagna.  There will be blue and gold overlays over white main table cloths.  Asparagus, roasted rosemary potatoes, water, tea, coffee, rolls, butter, and salad come with the meal.  Cake with squadron logo will also be served.

The attached picture captured attendees of the September 2021 aircrew and friends reunion in Panama City.  Back row: Bob Andrea, JR Simonds, Mike Walsh, Curt Clements, Rusty Russell, Mark Goodwin, Dwight Rumery.  Front row: Dean Savage, Tom Schier, Doug Moody, Chad Bruckschen, Kyra Maillard.  Rusty Russell’s daughter created the graphics including the H-2 at the top.  Rusty ordered his HSL-94 flag from https://aviationwizards.com/search?q=Flag+HSL-94.

The other attached pictures of a flight of SH-2Gs flying over the pyramids were taken by Greg Lachenmayer more than 12 years ago while training the Egyptians.

The HSL-94 email list is also attached.  Again, let me know if any of the email addresses are out of date.

Very much looking forward to seeing you on March 19th,

Tom

Note: Since some recipient servers reject emails with too many recipients, the HSL-94 group email list has to be broken up into multiple lists.  So, with regards to this email, if you were to select the "Respond to All" button, you would only be responding to a portion of the recipients.  To view all the group lists, first open the attached Excel file.  The first worksheet is an alphabetical list and the second worksheet contains the group lists.
