TH-57 Sea Ranger

The TH-57 aircraft is a derivative of the commercial Bell Jet Ranger 206. The Navy currently operates 42 TH-57Bs, 67 TH-57Cs, and two configured for RDT&E. The latter, based at NATC, Patuxent River, MD, are used for photo, chase, and utility missions. TH-57Bs provide primary (VFR) training, and TH-57Cs provide advanced (IFR) training, to several hundred aviation students a year at NAS Whiting Field, Milton. FL.
