Golf Tournament Rules:

Scramble Rules

1. A scramble means that all team members tee off on each hole (men from white tees, ladies from red tees) and then decide which tee shot they like the best and mark the spot.

2. The other team members pick up their balls and place them within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the marked spot. Each team member hits their next shot from the chosen spot of the prior shot.

3. If the ball you choose to play is in a hazard (sand, water, etc.), the rough, or out of bounds, you cannot drop the ball outside of the hazard or rough even if relief is within one club length away.

4. This procedure is followed on every shot for the remainder of the hole, including putts. The ball should be marked on the putting green also.

Skills Contests located on the following holes:

Longest Drive - # 6

Closest to the Pin - #13

Longest Putt - #18

Hole-in-one Contests located on the following holes:

$500 prize sponsored by Airbus - #5

$500 prize sponsored by ANA - #11

5. PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded for low score (first place), for high score (last place), for longest putt (#18) for longest drive (#6) and closest to the pin (#13). (In case of ties, lowest handicap holes will be compared).

6. SPECIAL RULES FOR LADIES: Each foursome may deduct one stroke from their final score for each lady they have in their foursome.

7. MULLIGANS: Each player may purchase up to two mulligans (do-overs) for $10 each (but cannot be used on the longest drive, closest to pin or longest putt holes) and must be purchased before the first tee off. Combos may not be given, traded or sold to any other player.

8. STRING. Each player may buy a yard of string for $10. This string may then be used during play to improve a player's lie or even avoid a stroke while putting. At any point, a player may move the ball the length of the string or less, to any desired position. If the player uses less than the full length, they have to cut the amount used off. They then have only the remaining amount to use for a future situation in the round.

Proceeds from Mulligan and String sales will benefit the NHA Scholarship Fund
