Welcome to the 2017 Naval Helicopter Association (NHA) Symposium
The theme for this year’s Symposium is “Multi-Mission Superiority.” Our Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard are deployed around the world every day, maintaining freedom on the high seas, bolstering our allies and building partner nation capacity, We do this across a wide range of mission sets within the Carrier Strike Group, Expeditionary Strike Group, Special Purpose MAGTFs, JSOACs and National Strike Force. We are also intricately joined across our services, routinely operating together in the Amphibious Ready Group, on LEDETS and with MSSTs, to name a few. You can look in any AOR around the world and you will find elements of our services operating to render aid and assistance, keep the peace, or take down the enemy.

Welcome to our New NHA President
Fellow Rotary Aviators! Welcome to the Navy Helicopter Association. I am humbled by the nomination to serve as your NHA President. It’s an honor to serve in any capacity that furthers the success of our great profession, and all the men and women of the naval helicopter community. Fair winds and following seas to CDR Shawn “OPIE” Bailey, our outgoing NHA President, whose leadership and dedication have truly raised the bar. Opie and I have served together in the past and I have once again been able to observe his stellar leadership over the past year at NHA. Opie – congratulations on your selection for Major Command and I wish you and your family all the best!
