An NHA Awardee is defined as those persons selected to receive an award from the Naval Helicopter Association on a National level and does not apply to Regional Winners who must pay their own expenses or be subsidized by their region. Notification: Upon selection, each national NHA award winner will receive a copy of the awardee benefit policy and a questionnaire to be returned to the National Office. Publicity: Award winners will be acknowledged in the post-Symposium issue of Rotor Review magazine. Transportation: All national NHA Awards are presented at the annual Symposium. The Awardees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the convention site. Regional Presidents will have detailed information concerning possible military airlift and should ensure priority seating on such. Hotel/Lodging: NHA will provide hotel accommodations at the Symposium hotel headquarters for a period of up to two (2) nights, which includes the room and room tax only for Awardees coming from beyond the Symposium geographic area. All other hotel expenses such as room service, food, telephone, etc., are the responsibility of the awardee. The hotel room may be a double room shared with another winner if the Award attendees are unaccompanied by a spouse, or a private room if accompanied by a spouse. Awards Luncheon: NHA will provide banquet reservations and VIP seating for the Awardee and one (1) guest. Additional reservations may be purchased by the Awardee and his/her family at the NHA member cost. Seating assignments will be made by the Luncheon committee, who will make every effort to seat additional guests with or near the Awardee. Relatives: Guest passes will be issued to relatives of the Awardee to attend Symposium functions such as cocktail parties, etc., which are open to NHA members and free of charge. Disclaimer: With the exception of the benefits listed above, all other expenses incurred by the Awardee are his/her sole responsibility. |
